Indirapuram Public School Girls organised an award distribution programme for Painting and Slogan competition on road safety and traffic rules

Patna : On 16th August 2019, Indirapuram Public School Girls organised an award distribution programme for (Painting and Slogan competition on road safety and traffic rules) held on 2nd August association with Indian Society of creative arts Patna Traffic Police.

Headmistress, Ms Deepa Sharan welcomed and felicitated the special guests, commander Parampreet Singh (Regional Director, NIOS ministry of HRD), Prof Krishna Chandra Vajpayee (HOD of creatives arts, BIT), Ms. Beauty Vajpayee (Prof, Art Technology, BIT), Col. Prem Prakash (Principal, Radiant International School).

The aim of the competition was to inculcate road safety, users behaviour and acceptance of traffic rules and enforcement initiative. The competition was conducted in two categories junior and senior and best three students received the certificate and prize. The guests interacted with all the students regarding road safety and agreed that introducing school based road safety education can instill attitudes of young people early which will protect the students later in life.

The programme was intended to highlight and emphasise on the importance of taking measures on road safety.
